Tonight marks 3 weeks until I’m supposed to load up the truck with all the worldly possessions I think I can fit in a 1-bedroom apartment and get on the road to Chi-town!  (Although, the lovely boyfriend informed me that no locals EVER call it Chi-town...so this will be the last time I use that name).  I’ve started packing.  I am looking for renters for my house.  I purchased guidebooks for the Chicago newbie.  I am making lists of everything I want to do when I get there.  What else?  What am I forgetting?  Anyone out there have experience with a long distance relocation?
